About MandiPrices.in
India's trusted platform for live agricultural market intelligence
Our Mission
MandiPrices.in was built with a simple but powerful mission: to bring transparency to India's agricultural markets. We believe that every farmer, trader, and consumer deserves free, instant access to accurate wholesale commodity prices from APMC mandis across the country.
By aggregating and presenting government market data in a user-friendly format, we help millions of stakeholders make better-informed decisions about buying, selling, and trading agricultural produce.
Our Data
All price data on MandiPrices.in is sourced from the Government of India's Open Data Portal (data.gov.in). We use an automated pipeline that fetches the latest mandi prices three times daily — at 2:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 6:00 PM IST — ensuring our users always have access to the most current market rates.
Our data pipeline processes prices for agricultural commodities across multiple Indian states, covering hundreds of APMC wholesale markets. Each price record includes the commodity name, variety, grade, minimum price, maximum price, and modal (most common) price per quintal.
Market Signals
Our proprietary market signals — BUY, SELL, HOLD, and STABLE — are algorithmically generated based on 7-day price trend analysis. These signals provide actionable insights to help farmers decide the optimal time to sell their produce and help buyers identify the best purchasing opportunities.
Coverage
We currently cover major agricultural states including Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala, Haryana, and Gujarat. Our team is actively working to expand coverage to all Indian states and union territories to provide comprehensive pan-India market intelligence.
Multi-Language Support
Understanding that India is a diverse, multi-lingual nation, MandiPrices.in supports 6 languages — English, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam — ensuring that farmers and traders can access market information in their preferred language.
